A dream is a wish

I had a dream last night....well "this afternoon" really.......that caught me by surprise. The dream itself was fantastically complex and unusual as most dreams tend to be, which is pretty normal for me. I am one of those dreamers who will remember everything to the tiniest and mundane detail. PRi has bought me several dream interpretation dictionaries for this reason. When I talk about my dreams, it can go on for several confusing minutes because I will recount everything I can remember.

This afternoon's dream was no different in that respect. It had its usual array of people, places, and things that have been on my mind lately. Some details were opposite of what is true in real life, such as PRi's "workspace" full of exercise books and texts was neatly arranged alphabetically, which if you've ever seen PRi's house, you'd be laughing right now. My "workspace" was a disastrous mess and large pile of stuff that I had to sift through. I was also at the Alex for some reason, though you'd probably not find me there anytime soon.

The most unexpected thing about my dream, however, was that my aunt was there. I haven't dreamt about her for a very long time. But she was there, smiling. We didn't need to talk. It was just comforting to know she was there.
