Oops:)

I was puttering around. I guess this quiz doesn't take in to account my latest trip:):)

You Are Okay With Money

You're about average with money, which means you probably don't have a lot of it.
Your instincts tell you to stay out of debt and spend wisely...
But you don't always listen to your instincts!
With a little more effort, you could have a nice little nest egg. You just have to control your spending.
Are You Good With Money?

Speaking of money, I start working again tonight. I should be used to staying up most of the night, but that doesn't explain why I feel so tired right now. Hence the puttering. I have pretty much slept all day (except for a piece of Devin's birthday cake.....16???!!!) Man I feel old.

So yeah and stuff. I should get ready for work........

That is an unbelievably crappy quiz.

1) Most people have several years of debt, but this does not necessarily mean they're any worse with money. If you have bought a new car or a house, you probably have years of debt. People with a shorter horizon of debt aren't necessarily better with money: probably they're people who can't afford to buy those sorts of things. They have 10 months' worth of credit card debt from DVD players and sneakers.

2) Betting your parents? What if your parents aren't gamblers? What if there are other options? What if you're so good with money you'd never put yourself in that situation (because you always allocate a certain amount per year for vacations) or would choose not to go?

3) Most financial advisors recommend only about three months of income protection.

4) It would be really weird if you didn't do "all of the above" to some degree, or at least two of the three.

...and so on and so on. They're TERRIBLE questions that are poor discriminators of economic intelligence.
